JESUS DOING GOOD

"How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him." Acts 10:38

Glory to God! Have you ever wondered what God's mind is concerning our healing and the wholeness of our body? We can get our answer from the life Jesus lived when He walked on earth. Jesus was anointed with the Holy Ghost and with power, and He used that power to do good. Everywhere He went, He brought hope, healing, restoration, and freedom to people who were oppressed. His ministry revealed the heart of God toward humanity. Jesus did not use His power to intimidate people or draw attention to Himself. He used it to serve, heal, restore, and lift people. The blind received their sight, the lame walked, the brokenhearted found hope, and those oppressed by the devil were set free. His life demonstrated that the presence and power of God should produce tangible goodness in the lives of others.

The Bible says that He “went about doing good.” This means goodness was not an occasional activity for Jesus; it was a lifestyle. He looked for opportunities to make a difference. He noticed people others ignored, touched those others rejected, and showed compassion to those who were hurting. Whenever we think about God's position on our health, that should be our confidence. As believers, we are called to follow the example of Jesus. We have received the Holy Spirit, and God's power is at work in us so that we can become channels of His goodness to others. There are people around us who need healing, encouragement, prayer, kindness, direction, and practical help. We must not only talk about Jesus; we must demonstrate His love through our lives. When God is with you, your life should become a blessing to others. Wherever you go, carry the character of Christ. Let your words bring encouragement, your hands bring help, your prayers bring healing, and your presence bring hope. May your life become an expression of the goodness of God everywhere you go, and may your hands bring good to the people around you. Hallelujah!!!

PRAYERS
Father, I receive grace to walk in the power of the Holy Spirit and become a channel of Your love, healing, encouragement, and restoration. Use my words, my hands, and my life to bring hope to those around me in Jesus's name

DAILY ENCOUNTER AUGUST 3RD, 2026 PROVING THAT WHICH IS GOOD "And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God." Romans 12:2 Glory to God!  When we gave our heart to Jesus, we were brought into a new life in God, and that life is life in the Spirit. It is a life powered by God by His Spirit to know what is good, acceptable, and perfect will of God. One of the issues we have seen among believers is the issue of not knowing what God is doing.
