LIVING WATER INSIDE YOU

"He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water." 

John 7:38

Glory to God! Every born-again child of God carries rivers of living water on the inside. When we accepted Jesus Christ into our hearts, we received the gift of the Holy Spirit, who now dwells within us. We are not empty vessels waiting for help to come from somewhere outside us; we carry the very presence of God within us. Jesus described the Holy Spirit as rivers of living water. Notice that He did not say a river, but rivers. This speaks of the many streams of divine grace and operation that flow from the presence of the Holy Spirit within us. There is a stream for healing, a stream for supernatural help, a stream for wisdom, a stream for strength, a stream for inspiration, a stream for comfort, and a stream for divine direction. The Holy Spirit is God's presence in us, and His presence carries everything we need for our journey. When we feel weak, there is strength in the Spirit. When we need direction, there is wisdom in the Spirit. When we need encouragement, there is comfort in the Spirit. When we need healing, we can engage the healing stream of the Spirit. When we need inspiration, divine ideas can flow from within us.

The challenge is that many believers are carrying rivers but are not drawing from them. A river can be present without its water being utilised. In the same way, the Holy Spirit can dwell within a believer, yet that believer may live without consciously engaging His ministry. One of the ways we draw from these rivers is through prayer. Prayer is more than just presenting our requests to God; it is communing with God in fellowship with the Holy Spirit. As we pray in the Spirit and worship in the Spirit, we become more conscious of His presence and His operations within us. When you need healing, engage the Spirit in prayer. When you need supernatural help, engage Him. When you need inspiration for a decision, a ministry assignment, your work, or your family, turn your heart to the Holy Spirit. There are streams within you that God intends you to draw from. You are not spiritually empty. The River is already inside you. You do not have to live helplessly, hopelessly, or constantly dependent on external circumstances. The Holy Spirit lives in you, and His rivers are available to you. Learn to draw from the River through prayer. There is living water inside you. Draw from it! Let it flow! Hallelujah!!!

  1. Am I consciously drawing from the presence of the Holy Spirit through prayer, worship, and fellowship, or am I trying to face life's challenges in my own strength?
  2. Which stream of the Holy Spirit do I need to draw from today: healing, strength, wisdom, direction, comfort, supernatural help, or inspiration?

PRAYERS
Father, thank You for the gift of the Holy Spirit who dwells in me. Help me to become more conscious to draw from the rivers of living water within me. Let the streams of healing, supernatural help, and divine direction flow freely in my life. May the living water in me also flow out to bless others in Jesus's name

    the Holy Spirit can dwell within a believer, yet that believer may live without consciously engaging His ministry.
