DAILY ENCOUNTER

WE HAVE A HIGH PRIEST

"For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin." Hebrews 4:15

Glory to God! One of the greatest comforts we have as believers is knowing that we have a High Priest who understands us. Jesus is not distant from our struggles; He is not distant from our weaknesses, our pains, or the temptations that confront us. He became flesh, walked among men, experienced hunger, rejection, weariness, sorrow, and temptation, yet He remained without sin. This means that you can come to Jesus with confidence. You do not have to hide your weaknesses from Him because He already knows them. You do not have to pretend to be strong when you are hurting. You can come just as you are and receive grace, mercy, and help.

Jesus understands what it means to be tempted. He understands what it means to face pressure and opposition. He understands what it means to be rejected and misunderstood. He understands the pain of human suffering. Therefore, when you pray, you are not speaking to someone who merely knows about your struggles; you are coming to the One who understands. Yet, there is something even more powerful: Jesus understands our weakness without being overcome by it. He was tempted in every way, yet He did not sin. This means He is not only able to know what we are going through; He is also able to strengthen us to overcome. Whatever you may be facing today, do not run away from God because of your weakness. Run to Jesus. Do not allow shame, condemnation, or the feeling of unworthiness to keep you away from His presence. Your High Priest is compassionate, and His throne is a throne of grace. There is grace for you today. There is mercy for your failure. There is strength for your weakness. There is help for your need. We have a High Priest, and His name is Jesus! Hallelujah!!!

PRAYERS
Father, thank You for giving Jesus unto me as my High Priest. I obtain grace to come boldly to Jesus every day in prayers without shame and condemnation. I declare that I am empowered to overcome, and I have the strength to remain faithful in Jesus's name

DAILY ENCOUNTER AUGUST 3RD, 2026 PROVING THAT WHICH IS GOOD "And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God." Romans 12:2 Glory to God!  When we gave our heart to Jesus, we were brought into a new life in God, and that life is life in the Spirit. It is a life powered by God by His Spirit to know what is good, acceptable, and perfect will of God. One of the issues we have seen among believers is the issue of not knowing what God is doing.
